Plurk this Sh*t!
Yet another “Web 2.0″ service that is starting to make things like normal blogging obsolete.
Similar to the popular Twitter service, Plurk.com is a networking site that focuses more on creating small network of friends and all being able to keep in touch over a detailed timeline with short (140 characters) messages, shared images and videos. These little snippets are then setup to support comments to discuss whatever the topic was and to keep everyone up to date.
Sounds kinda similar right?
Other features include being able to filter by actions (says, feels, hates, thinks), the ability to post to the service via IM or even mobile browser and a karma point based system to give a little sense of competition.
It’s worth checking out at least. It’s alot more dynamic then the system we have here which allows for the quick back and forth and snappy remarks that we are famous forth. But it still doesn’t allow for those long discussions that require bigger brain dumps of thoughts or musings.

You can find my Plurk profile at Falchion to check it out.
